What is POM plastic?
POM (polyoxymethylene) is an engineering thermoplastic characterized by high strength and excellent processability. Compared with other ordinary plastics, it has good chemical resistance and wear resistance, excellent mechanical properties, and outstanding dimensional stability. POM materials play an important role in the manufacturing of precision parts for various purposes. CNC processed polyoxymethylene parts are commonly found in consumer electronics products such as printers and televisions, connectors such as nuts and screws, mechanical gears, and guide components.
